ORv3 and 19-inch racks
Open Rack V3 and standard 19-inch configurations with liquid distribution, power and cable management, for new halls and for retrofits of existing ones. IT compatibility agreed per project.
An ORv3 rack for liquid-cooled IT is a distribution system before it is a piece of furniture. The vertical manifold, the quick-disconnect positions, the busbar and the cable pathways all have to be agreed against the servers the owner is actually buying, and against the CDU that will feed them.
We configure Open Rack V3 and standard 19-inch racks around the project's IT list: rack power, manifold sizing and QD standard, blind-mate or hose connection, leak detection routing and the service clearances the operator will need in year three. Racks are built to our specification by manufacturing partners we qualify, and each one leaves the factory with a pressure-test record and a quick-disconnect register that records the mate cycles made during factory testing, so every later connection on site is counted from a known starting point.
In an existing air-cooled hall, liquid can be brought to standard 19-inch racks with rear-door or rack-mounted manifolds and an in-row or in-rack CDU, so compute density rises without rebuilding the room.
Where a project mixes rack integrators, we hold the interface: which party proves the rack manifold, which proves the row manifold, and what the record for the joint between them looks like.
