Portrait of Jim Li

Jim Li

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Jim founded NextGenergy to move AI data centres beyond single-point equipment optimisation toward integrated system design across power, liquid cooling and heat recovery. He is co-founder and vice president of Tsingchain Technology (Beijing), where he built and operated immersion and direct-to-chip liquid-cooled compute whose recovered heat was delivered into district heating, greenhouses and aquaculture. Earlier he was a senior product manager at Baidu. He holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree in international economics and trade, writes Every Watt Counts, reviews open liquid-cooling specifications, and is the author of the three-clock model and the ten leak points.
